The work of foreign culture exchange goes up a new step

In the morning of 9th July, 2007, the inauguration and signing ceremony of the Gordon Chow Canada-China Professional Enrichment Program hold at Sheraton hotel of Changsha. As organizer of this program, 16 people from Canadian Fund for International Understanding through Culture which was led by chairman of Fund, Mrs. Wu Yongguang,Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Canadian Heritage, Mrs. Sheila Copps attend the inauguration. Deputy governor of Hunan Province, Mr. Guo Kailang meet the delegation and attend inauguration. 

    As the first participant, Hunan Provincial Museum will have 2 professionals to invite to Canada for an enrichment experience in Arts & Culture Professional Enrichment Program, all of fees will be provided by the Fund.

    The inauguration of this program symbols that the cooperation between Canadian museums and Hunan Provincial Museum come into a practical stage, and also means the management ideal and status and influence of Hunan Provincial Museum in Chinese museums world have accepted and confirmed by Canadian Part.
