The Researcher of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Wang Yarong, gives a lecture in our museum

The researcher of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Ms. Wang Yarong, gave a lecture in our multi-function Hall, which topic is “the excavation report of huge tombs of the Eastern Zhou dynasty at Jin An, Jiangxi province”. Our vice director, Mr. Li Jianmao mastered the lecture and all of our employees attended it. 

From the view of scientific archaeology and excavation, Ms. Wang introduced the excavation information, unearthed process, historical value of these cultural relics and the relative information for the attendees. Through abundant pictures and elegant words, she provided the first-hand archaeological materials to audiences. When finished the lecture, all of attendees responded her warmly applause.

The Tombs of the western Zhou dynasty at Jin An is an important archaeology discover, which was more than 2500 yeas ago. It has a peculiar tomb form called “a tomb with many coffins”, totally unearthed more than 47 coffins, which shocked the archaeology circle and provided precious materials for the research of human culture.
