Our Professors visited Japan for the Second Paper Protection Meeting of Eastern Asian

From Sep. 7 to 9, invited by the curator of Kyushu National Museum of Japan and chief director of the Professor Union for Repairing and Upholstering, the professor of collection and technique department of our museum, Zhou Zhiyuan attended to the Second Paper Protection Meeting of Eastern Asian holding in Kyushu National Museum, Japan.

More than 300 representatives from China, Korea, UK and Japan had a warmly and meaningful discussion about various subjects, such as paper making on Eastern Asian area, and idea, technique, material, tool of repairing paper relics, as well as the cooperation between each other. They reviewed and evaluated systematically the protection situation in Eastern Asian area before and now, and prospected the protection for paper relics in future.
