Our museum appointed personnel to attend 1st work conference of Chinese coordinators for every committees of ICOM

In June 26, the first work conference of Chinese coordinators for every committees of ICOM held in International Friendship Museum, Beijing. Appointed by the curator, Huang Lei and Duan Lian, director and staff member of the department of foreign affairs and exhibition attended this conference on behalf of the secretariat of Regional Museum Committee of Chinese Society of Museums.

The 22nd annual meeting of ICOM will hold in Shanghai in Nov. 2010, which is the first time to undertake such high level meeting in museum circle. So in order to prepare the meeting efficiently and successfully, to link up 31 committees affiliated ICOM and the committees in Chinese Society of Museum, CSM and Preparatory Committee of 22nd meeting of ICOM decided to held the first work conference of Chinese coordinators for every committees of ICOM.

Dr. An Laishun, the director of Beijing Office of Preparatory Committee, introduced the basic situation of ICOM meeting, application background of 22nd meeting of ICOM and developing situation of prepared work. Staff member of Shanghai Office also introduce the relative situation in  Shanghai.
