The Objects in the Exhibition Touring in America “Art and Life in the Western Han: The Tombs at Mawangdui” Has Been Checked and Transferred to China Institute in Beijing Successfully

In order to enhance China-US cultural exchange, at the invitation of the China Institute Gallery, China Institute in America, located in New York, the Hunan Provincial Museum  agrees to hold the exhibition, “Art and Life in the Western Han: The Tombs at Mawangdui”, from January  28, 2009 to June 7, 2009 at the China Institute Gallery located in New York.

On 9:30, Jan 19th 2009,the checking and transferring job began at the storeroom in Beijing World Art Museum, and Willow Hai Chang—the director of the China Institute Gallery, attended the job in person. We provide 68 items/sets for the exhibition, among them,13 items/sets are First Grade Cultural Relics. The job successfully finished after one day’s hard working.
