The 2008 Annual Meeting of the International Committee for Museology (ICOFOM) held in changsha

From Sep. 14 to 21, The 2008 Annual Meeting of the International Committee for Museology (ICOFOM) held in changsha,Hunan province,China. More than 110 participants from 15 countries from all over the world attended the meeting, which was undertook by Hunan Provincial Museum.

The joint meetings and scientific discussions addressed the issue of Museums, Museology and Global Communication . A series of reports were submitted. To conclude, the most important achievement of meeting was draft and overpass “Changsha Proclaim”.
