The Founder of Mexico Simón Fund visits our Museum

On the evening of Mar. 30, a group led by Mr. Juan Antonio Pérez Simón, the founder of Simón Fund of Mexico, visited our museum for reviewing the exhibition area of “From Academia to Impressionism——Master Pieces of the Exhibition of the 19th Century European Paintings selected by Simón Fund”, Mr. Chen Jianming, our director personally met with them and introduced relative information. Mr. Simón was satisfied with the condition of our exhibition area, and said that our museum is one of the best museums he saw in China.

From Sep. 8 to Nov. 16, “From Academia to Impressionism——Master Pieces of the Exhibition of the 19th Century European Paintings selected by Simón Fund” co-hold by Beijing World Art Museum, Shanghai Art Museum, Hunan Provincial Museum, Guangdong Museum of Art and Simón Fund of Mexico, will open in Hunan Provincial Museum. A total of 100 paintings will display in this exhibition, covering the representative works of classicalism, romanticism, realism, impressionism and Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood in that period.
