From March 20, 2008 Hunan Provincial Museum opens free to the public long-term.  The museum provides 5000 tickets everyday according to the safety of the cultural relics and the reception ability of the museum. You can queue up to obtain one ticket by yourself for free. Teenagers under 14 should be accompanied by adults or visit collectively.

Hunan Provincial Museum opens from 9:00 to 17:00, from Tuesday to Sunday，and closes on Monday (except public holidays) and the New Year’s Eve on the lunar calendar.
