Mr. Qin Xiaoyi passed away regretfully, his exhibition in Hunan becomes the last

The former director of the National Palace Museum in Taipei, Mr. Qin Xiaoyi passed away in Jan. 5, 2007 at the age of 85. During his occupied period in the National Palace Museum in Taipei, he actively promoted cultural communication across the strait.
Mr. Qin was filled with deep emotion for his hometown, Hunan. He set foot on here again after leaving hometown for 68 years. From Oct. 20 to Nov. 25, 2005, “the Exhibition of Qin Xiaoyi’s Poetry, Calligraphy and Writing Instruments” grandly open in Hunan Provincial Museum.

During 35 open days ,over 17,000 people came to visit the exhibition. The exhibition gained worm response from visitors and society. While we can not bear the fact now that Mr. Qin has gone, so this exhibition becomes the last one he attended by himself.
