Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hunan Provincial Museum

On Dec. 29, 2006, the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our museum were held in the mood of simplicity, thriftiness and effectiveness.

At 10:00 AM, “colloquium of retired staff to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hunan Provincial Museum” began to hold at the VIP room in the 2nd floor of new exhibition hall, 68 retired people worked for the museum joined by invited. At 15:00, all of staff members joined “the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of establishing Hunan Provincial Museum”. The report reviews creation and development history of Hunan Provincial Museum in a half century, talks about the developing thoughts and aims of our museum in future.

Before today, Hunan provincial museum has brought some great exhibitions practically to mark the 50th anniversary, and also launch special column on China Culture Relics News and China Culture Daily.
