“Guan Ren”, Male Figurine Wearing a Hat

Unearthed from Tomb No.1
It has a strongly-build body, and is wearing a tall hat and a silk gown. One of its shoe-soles is carved with “Guan Ren” (man with a hat),meaning “Guan Ren” (male servant). He might represent the head servant in the household of the Marquis of Dai.
Servants
The family of Marquis of Dai had lots of chamberlains and servants. More than 300 wooden figures representing chamberlains and servants were unearthed from Tomb No.1 and Tomb No.3.
Figurines with Painted Design

These are the largest number of figurines found, but the smallest in size; they might represent the servants of the lowest rank engaged in sundry duties in the household of the Marquis of Dai.

So many boxes of funerary currency unearthed from the tombs reflects the riches of the family of Marquis of Dai.

Seven-String Qin

Unearthed from Tomb No.3
This is the best-preserved seven-string Qin of the Han dynasty still in existence. The string-plucking marks left on the top surface of the Qin indicate that it very well might have been used by the tomb owner. This is the most exquisite seven-stringed Qin of the Han Dynasty.
Se with 25 Strings

Unearthed from Tomb No.1
When unearthed, the Se, wrapped in a scarf, had all its parts intact and all its wooden bridges in position. The 25 silk strings were fastened to wooden pins, and under each string there was a moveable bridge for tuning purposes. On the underside of the se, there were resonators at both ends. This is the most exquisite Se of the Qin and Han Dynasty.

A Set of Liubo Chess

The apparatus of Liu-bo consists of a chessboard, 20 chess pieces, 42 chips for counting, 6 black chessmen, 6 white chessmen, an ivory scraper, a knife and an eighteen-sided die which inscribed with numbers from 1 to 16 and 2 Chinese characters “骄” and “?”. Liubo chess was a fashionable game during the Han dynasty, but it no longer exists. Two players would alternately cast the die and move the chessman, and the one who obtained more chips would be the winner.
