Rhythm of the Hunan Guqin
The art of the guqin is not only an art of music, it is an integration of traditional Chinese music, literature and art. The art of the guqin is an accumulation of traditional Chinese culture. At present, Hunan Provincial Museum is one of the museums which has collected most of the guqin in China.
Exhibition of Qi baishi’ Art works
In 1864 Qi Baishi was born in Hunan, his former first name is Chunzhi, and was called Weiqing. It was later changed to Huang, whose alternative names were Baishi and Scholar Mu. He was a professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In his youth, he learned flower engraving carpentry, and began to learn painting in 1888.
